🙋 How You Can Help
Every person can make a difference. Here are the best ways to help our campaign—no money needed!
Why Your Help Matters
Our campaign has a very small budget. We can only spend $5,000 total. Big campaigns spend millions of dollars on TV ads and mailers.
But we have something better: YOU!
When you talk to your friends, family, and neighbors about our campaign, it works better than any TV ad. People trust people they know. That's why volunteers are the most important part of our team.
Below are the ways you can help. We listed them from most helpful to still helpful. Pick the ones that fit your life!
Talk to People You Know
This is the single best thing you can do. Tell your friends, family, and coworkers about Gregory Burgess.
You don't need to be an expert. Just share why you care. Something simple like:
"Hey, have you heard of Greg Burgess? He's running for Congress and actually wrote real bills you can read. Check out vote-roar.com!"

Post about our campaign on your Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other social media.
Posts from real people (not campaign accounts) reach way more people. The computer programs that run social media show your posts to more of your friends.
You can share our website, talk about why you support Greg, or post pictures of yourself with campaign materials.

Knock on Doors in Your Neighborhood
Walk around your neighborhood and talk to voters face-to-face. This is called "canvassing."
You don't have to be a great speaker. Just introduce yourself, share a brochure, and ask if they've heard of Gregory Burgess. Most people are friendly!
We'll give you brochures and a simple script to follow.

Write a Letter to Your Local Newspaper
Newspapers print letters from regular people. It's called the "Letters to the Editor" section.
Write a short letter (150-200 words) about why you support Gregory Burgess. Send it to your local paper—like the Marin IJ, Press Democrat, or Times-Standard.
This is FREE publicity that thousands of people will read!

Represent Us at Community Events
Go to farmers markets, local fairs, town meetings, or other community events wearing campaign gear.
You can hand out brochures and answer basic questions. Or just be visible! When people see our name over and over, they remember it.
Great events: farmers markets, county fairs, school events, church gatherings, neighborhood meetings.

Make Phone Calls to Voters
Call voters from home and tell them about Gregory Burgess. We give you a list of numbers and a simple script.
Most calls are short—30 seconds to 2 minutes. You're just asking if they know about our campaign and if they have questions.
This is great if you can't walk around but still want to talk to voters directly.

Record a Short Video
Use your phone to record a 30-second video about why you support Greg. Just look at the camera and speak from the heart!
You can say something like: "I'm voting for Gregory Burgess because..." and share your reason.
These videos work great on social media because they feel real and honest—not like a polished TV ad.

Help Schedule Speaking Events
Do you belong to a club, church, or community group? Help us get Greg invited to speak!
Groups like Rotary, Lions Club, neighborhood associations, and church groups often invite guests to speak. You just need to ask your group leader.
We'll come prepared with a short talk about our three promises and answer questions.
